Mark Ancevic
Mark is from the Midwest. He was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin and graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Madison with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He began his technical career as a telecommunications systems design engineer for GTE Automatic Electric in Franklin Park, IL. Three years later Mark joined Honeywell Inc. Home and Building Controls Division and in his distinguished 25 year career held key positions that lead and managed the development of commercial building environmental controls, systems and services in Arlington Heights, IL, Atlanta, GA and Minneapolis, MN.
In 2000 Mark and his wife Kathy relocated to Naples, Florida and he started his second career, Residential Real Estate Sales, as a New Home Consultant for Lennar/US Homes. He sold condominiums, attached villas, garden homes, townhomes and single family homes in five new Southwest Florida communities – Cedar Hammock, Forest Glen, Stoneybrook in Estero, The Legends and Stoneybrook at Gateway. Mark was a regular recipient of the “Over a Million Dollar in Sales a Month” Award and in 2001 Lennar Homes’ SW Florida “New Home Consultant of the Year”. In 2005 he joined David Weekley Homes, and sold custom single family homes, “built on your lot,” in Cape Coral, FL. In 2007 Mark joined NRG Realty Company where he performed on-site sales at Horse Creek Estates, general real estate marketing and sales in Lee County; helped developed sales collateral and support documentation for a new NRG community called Mirada, and developed a general real estate brokerage business plan, P&P compensation plans and office forms. Mark joined Schooner Bay Realty Inc. in 2008 performing general real estate marketing and sales in Lee County. Mark has a passion for having the opportunity to enhance people’s lives by helping them through the entire home acquisition process.
